We started our day off by playing Hair Salon. First we chose bunny barrette (a common favourite), then we picked pony and a barrette (her signature style), then we experimented with princess hair, and finally settled on two braids. Believe it or not, she was absolutely a willing participant - who made very precise decisions!
Mommy made a decision to call the doctor to see if we could pop in to check out P-rae's cough. It's been lingering a while and doesn't seem to be getting better, if anything, worse. We had to cancel our date with Auntie Judy, but promised we would come visit soon, when all coughs and bugs were gone! We got an appointment at 2:15, and we made a decision to visit the new Pet Store on Kenaston as a fun outing today.
2:15 came pretty fast! We were having so much fun at the pet store, we nearly missed our appointment. Thank goodness we didn't - it turns out my little trooper is one sick little lady. Who would have thought? Besides the cough and a few more "I love you mommy's" and cuddles and kisses, she has been her usual chipper little self. She did so great at the doctor's office - she was patient as he listened to her breathe and joked with him that he found "tato's" in her ears when he looked and she was very good and said "Ahhhh!" for him when he asked. Then, he through a curve ball and sent us down to get x-rays! She was awesome! She sang the "Time for a Check up song" and when it was all done she sang, "I feel better, so much better." Then she got to choose her toy before going back to the doctor to get her diagnosis and prescription.

While we waited for her prescription, we took a quick coffee break and Pacey enjoyed her Apple Juice on the Rocks. She also enjoyed telling everyone who listened "hey lady I sick." "hey guy I sick" "hey boy I sick" and so on and so forth.
So while the day was not as fun as the other few days we have shared, it was productive, and I am so pleased we have
