Every single day at 11:00 am, Pacey-rae watches Peppa Pig. Peppa is a sweet little pig acros the pond who has captured the heart of our girl! When the theme song starts to play, Pr gets real excited and bounces in her jumper. She really let's out a squeal when George gives a snort and is certainly captivated for the entire 6 or 7 minutes. Have a look yourself below - this is Mommy's favourite Peppa Pig to date. Enjoy!

Oh yeah son....
Daddy got me all kitted up for the big game! He ordered me an official jersey from the NFL site and my sweet Gramma sent it in the mail with another Bronco outfit! I can hardly wait for Sundays! Sometimes Mommy meets up with Miss Dusty for a walk or a shop or a little of both. While these two ladies chat, gossip, and convince each other to spend money that neither of them really need to, Bentley and I plan our wedding. Today, the ladies took a running start at the Fall selections at Polo Park - which was a bit of a let down. Bentley and I tagged along, I gazed at him while he nibbled his crackers. He made eyes at me as I played with Sophie the Giraffe, he has nothing to be jealous about, Sophie is not nearly as devilishly handsome as he is! All in all it was a great day. We sat down for a few at the end, where Bentley filled me in on our honey moon plans. So, our baby is a great sleeper, always has been. No complaints. Our baby is a happy little soul. Always smiling and laughing. Our baby is inquisitive. Looking, reaching, searching, always paying attention. Our baby is strong. Using her legs, sitting up, nearly crawling. But ... Our baby has made feeding time, an Olympic event. Spitting, screaming, glaring, smacking, crying, and the likes. I believe Krista said it best when she commented on another blog "A picture is worth a thousand words." PS - none of you thought you would give me a heads up on this gong show??? Not Bananas About Bananas ...Avocado Anxiety ...Swooning for Sweet Potatoes ...Green Beans ... oh who am I kidding? I can't blame the kid...For those of you who know me, I really don't do centre of attention well. It's a joke really - awkward, uncomfortable, just not my thing. I have never really enjoyed the aspect of a birthday party for this reason, alone. I am super uncomfortable with birthday cake singing, which might have come from having an over the top on birthdays kind of mom who made the day an EVENT, nonetheless, I celebrate as quietly as my family will let me every year. Big thanks to Jason, Dad, Ryan, Kelly, Kai, Vayda for allwoing me to celebrate my birthday my way. I appreciate it, and know that it is probably not a lot of fun, but I really love you all so much for respecting me and my quirks.
All that being said - what an awesome Birthday! We had BBQ, some laughs, a little cousin cuteness - OK who am I kidding a whole heck of a lot of cousin cuteness with matching dresses and 7 year old boys loving their baby cousins so much - hard not to let it tug on your heart strings!! It was a wonderful day, made even better with my little girl. She really, really put a new unspeakable kind of spin on my special day this year. She did not fill the blindingly obvious empty seat at the table, but man can she steal a spotlight and create her own throne in my world!!! I love you Pacey-rae! Summer has been very good to P-r and I. We spend our days taking it easy and going with the flow. We have been lucky to have a few lunch dates, our regular walking dates, and a couple breakfast dates as well. We have gone exploring our city and found some neat little treasure troves to spend time NOT money!!! We have been to Kildonan Park, Fort Whyte, St. Vital Park, a few splash pads, out to the beach, a jaunt to the Farmer's Market, a stroll in St. Boniface, and a couple visits at the Forks. All in all a pretty busy summer. Pacey is a really good natured baby, so it is easy to take her places. She is inquisitive and looks around. She does a lot of charming and loves to smile at animals. I got a new camera for my birthday, so I have been busy figuring it out and taking some new pictures of P (stay tuned!). Here are a few shots of some of our adventures. Hope you enjoy! What have you been up to? Any suggestions for a new adventure for P-r and me? |
