When we woke up this morning, we decided to crawl back in the "big bed" and have a good cuddle. So far, this has been the best part of my spring break by far!!! I will take a cuddle from Pacey any day over any sort of adventure I could have anywhere in this big wide world. She is my best and favourite adventure every single day!

Bampa surprised us with some Tim Horton's breakfast when we got up - which was so nice. Pacey got Pacey's drink and a strawberry sprinkles donut - she was in heaven. It went well with the 7 baby gigi's she ate throughout the morning. She spent her sweet time actually getting up from bed and decided to crawl back in to watch some tartoons. She watched Ni Hao Kai-lan, Peter Rabbit, and part of a Barbie movie. She was in no rush to get on with the day. I spent some solid cleaning time while she relaxed. It was great to have that time with no interruptions or temptations to play.
NOTE: The kitty cat in a dress is the toy she chose from the doctor office - she named the kitty cat … Spike Jones. I am not sure where she came up with that one!
I decided since we were missing our fun play date with Miss Jayme, Emerson and Merrick, I needed to bring some fun to Pacey for today. So I set out to create a crafter-noon for us (See what I did there? clever) I bought some kits, set up a crafting area in the sunroom, put her in a smock and we were good to go!
Craft One: Painting a Bunny Bank
She most certainly is her daddy's girl. 6 colours of paint to choose from and she only painted with the blue and dark orange. She's got Bronco blood running through her veins (ok - that might be a little drastic). She absolutely loved this craft - she was right into it from the get go, she had her focus face on and her painting brush ready to swipe. For a two year old, I was impressed with how much she painted on her bank, then again, I am impressed by her on most days.

Craft Two: Make your own Bunny House
Well, clearly this was a joke I was the but end of. I am not sure what I was thinking, a million and nine pieces, no instructions besides "Use the picture as a guide," and a two year old eager to pull apart, toss around, and mix up all of the pieces. But, we got it done, granted there was most definitely more of a mommy effort on this one, but P did get in there and stick some of the flowers on the roof and she did put the birds on and she did the little animals. She did a great job.
But just so we are clear, I full on hated this craft.

Craft Three: Colouring Bunny Rabbit Ornaments
There was a lot less gusto to this craft - she was losing energy and interest fast, perhaps due to the fact that the stupid Bunny House took us over an hour to complete. Regardless, we brought out some glitter glue and there was a slight improvement in her effort, but only really slight. She was getting pretty tired and nap time was around the corner.
