Mommy and I made Gingies for the kids in her class. First we made the dough, then we pressed the cutter into it and then we baked them. I had a lot of fun helping mommy do this special treat for her "kids." Bampa, Daddy and Little Jimmy all got a sniff of the good stuff, but there was no room for tasters!!!
When we go shopping, Pacey always wants to stop for "Pacey's treat." I usually stop, because - the kid that won't eat anything will eat all of this from beginning to end. It is the Tutti Fruitti (I think that is what it is called) stand at Polo Park. She loves the fruit flavoured frozen yogurt and add in the fresh strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe and mango - she is smitten. Then we tried the Bobo's and she went crazy for them. I think this is the first food she has gotten truly excited about!
I love knowing that when Pacey is at Marni's, not only is she very well taken care of, but she is with one of her most favourite little people in the world - Ry-ry. These two, are a couple of peas in the pod. They love to play silly and rough and run around Marni's house doing all sorts of wacky stuff. They get into trouble, they have their scuffles, but at the end of every day, when I pick her up, they always run to each other and give each other a hug and kiss. On the way home, from the back seat of my car, I can hear all kinds of jibber jabber with the odd "Ry-ry" tossed in. Here are a couple of cute photos Marni sent of these two characters.
I love taking pictures of Pacey! I love shopping for cute outfits for Pacey. The only sensible thing to do here is clearly a … PHOTO SHOOT! My parents backyard is absolutely beautiful, lots of greenery, a massive willow tree, awesome interlocking brick and a cute little deck. We didn't have to go far to create the perfect look for Pacey's photo shoot for our Christmas cards. After finishing up those pictures, I remembered a whole other set of outfits that I had bought Pacey and coincidentally, they just happened to match my parent's sunroom theme. We spent a little more time dressing up and taking pictures, trying to find the perfect one, or two, or three, … sigh….
